He worked steadily and by 1985 the practice outgrew it\u2019s location and moved into the newly constructed Malo Professional Building on Colborne Street North. As Dr. Malo continued to provide exceptional dental care the practice has continued to grow including the addition of his son, Dr. Ian Malo, in 2005.<\/p><\/div>\n            \n            \n            \n            \n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n    <div>\n        <div class=\"uk-panel\">\n\n            \n            \n            \n            \n                        <h3 class=\"uk-panel-title\">\n\n                                    Patient Comfort                \n                \n            <\/h3>\n            \n            \n            \n                        <div class=\"uk-margin\"><p>Both Dr. Steve and Ian Malo are committed to continued education; always learning the newest and most advanced techniques and procedures and adopting new dental technologies as they become available. Wanting to improve patient comfort and overall experience, the Malo Professional Building was completely renovated in 2010. Malo<\/h3>\n\n<p>Dr. Steven Malo, B.Sc., D.D.S. is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario\u2019s well-renowned school of dental medicine. Shortly after, Dr. Steve opened his dental practice in Simcoe. His easy manner and attention to patient concerns have long been his trademark of service; putting patient anxiety to rest with genuine warmth and trust. Dr. Steve welcomes <a href=\"\/new-patients\/\" title=\"Become a patient\">new patients<\/a> and looks forward to offering you the best comprehensive oral health care.<\/p>\n<a class=\"uk-button uk-button-link\" data-uk-toggle=\"{target:'#stevemalo', cls:'uk-hidden', animation:'uk-animation-slide-left, uk-animation-slide-bottom'}\">Read more<\/a>\n\n<div id=\"stevemalo\" class=\"uk-hidden\" aria-hidden=\"true\" style=\"\">\n<p>In addition to maintaining his full-time practice, Dr. Steve Malo is president of the Haldimand Norfolk Dental Society, Councillor of the Ontario Dental Association, and an active member of the Brant Dental Society, the Canadian Dental Association, the Academy of Dentistry International, and the International College of Dentistry. Dr. Steve Malo received the Award of Merit from the Ontario Dental Association for his involvement in promoting public dental health.<\/p>\n\n<p>Dr. Steve\u2019s diverse interests outside the realm of dentistry include farming, where he is the owner and manager of Steven Malo Farms Ltd. and president of Malo Farms Ltd. He is also a partner of the Burning Kiln Winery. Dr. Steve\u2019s extensive volunteer and humanitarian work have taken him to India and Africa where he was involved in vaccinating against polio, establishing eye surgery clinics, and digging wells for clean drinking water. Here at home, he is past president of the Heart &amp; Stroke Foundation, and past president and member of the Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise.<\/p>\n\n<p>Never one to sit still, Dr. Steve enjoys playing squash and tennis, cross country skiing, gardening and photography. Malo<\/h3>\n\n<p>Dr. Ian Malo, B.Sc., D.D.S., graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science degree, and went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo\u2019s School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Ian\u2019s casual manner and gentle approach puts patients at ease and he welcomes <a href=\"\/new-patients\/\" title=\"Become a patient\">new patients<\/a>. Dr. Ian is Past President of the Haldimand Norfolk Dental Society, and an active member of the Brant Dental Society, the Ontario Dental Association, and the Canadian Dental Association.<\/p>\n\n<p>A true believer in a healthy lifestyle, Dr. Ian is an avid marathon runner and triathlete. He also spent five years as a Reservist in the Canadian Armed Forces, primarily as a Captain with the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry. Dr. Ian shares the family interest in farming and, together with his brother Gordon, is owner\/operator of Malo Bros.
