Dr. Steven Malo Dr. Steve Malo, B.Sc., D.D.S. is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario’s well-renowned school of dental medicine. Shortly after graduation from dental school, Dr. Steve opened his dental practice in 1978 to service the dental needs of the residents of Simcoe, Haldimand and Norfolk County. Dr. Steve’s easy manner and attention to patient concerns have long been his trademark of service; putting patient anxiety to rest with genuine warmth and trust. Dr. Steve welcomes new patients and looks forward to offering you the best comprehensive oral health care. In addition to maintaining his full-time practice, Dr. Steve Malo is president of the Haldimand Norfolk Dental Society, Councillor of the Ontario Dental Association, and active member of the Brant Dental Society, the Canadian Dental Association, the Academy of Dentistry International, and the International College of Dentistry. Dr. Steve Malo received the Award of Merit from the Ontario Dental Association for his involvement in promoting public dental health. Dr. Steve’s diverse interests outside the realm of dentistry include farming, where he is the owner and manager of Steven Malo Farms Ltd. and president of Malo Farms Ltd. He is also a partner of the Burning Kiln Winery. Dr. Steve’s extensive volunteer and humanitarian work have taken him to India and Africa where he was involved in vaccinating against polio, establishing eye surgery clinics, and digging wells for clean drinking water. Here at home, he is past president of the Heart & Stroke Foundation, and past president and member of the Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise. Never one to sit still, Dr. Steve enjoys playing squash and tennis, cross country skiing, gardening and photography. He is also happily married to his wife Jane, and he is the proud father of three sons, Gordon, Ian and Steven R., who are now grown and managing their own successful careers and families.

Dr. Ian Malo Dr. Ian Malo, B.Sc., D.D.S., graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science degree, and went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo’s School of Dental Medicine. He joined his father’s practice shortly after graduation from dental school in June 2005. Dr. Ian is Past President of the Haldimand Norfolk Dental Society, and an active member of the Brant Dental Society, the Ontario Dental Association, and the Canadian Dental Association. His patient philosophy emphasizes prevention through regular check-ups and cleanings and he is committed to the comprehensive oral health care of his patients. Dr. Ian’s casual manner and gentle approach puts patients at ease. Dr. Ian welcomes new patients, and looks forward to keeping your family’s smiles bright and healthy for many years to come. A true believer in a healthy lifestyle, Dr. Ian is an avid marathon runner and triathlete. He also spent five years as a Reservist in the Canadian Armed Forces, primarily as a Captain with the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry. Dr. Ian shares the family interest in farming and, together with his brother Gordon, is owner/operator of Malo Bros. Farms Ltd. Dr. Ian is married to his wife Ashley, and together thay have 2 sons, Max and Cooper.
